Description

Stunning Edwardian satinwood combination wardrobe c.1905. Full length hanging to the left and right hand hand doors, either side of a bow fronted centre section with a two door cupboard over four drawers of graduated depth plus a slim hidden jewellery drawer. Very good looking wardrobe with sparkling satinwood veneers arranged in symmetrical pattern across the front and sides. Crisp moulded cornice with inlaid dental detail over a delicate inlaid frieze of harebell heads against a criss-cross trellis. Bowed centre doors with spectacularly figured parquetry work centres within inlaid harebell borders. Long plain door panels with shaped tops. Raised on a moulded plinth. Superb quality cabinet making with mahogany groundwork and drawer linings. Original brass handles cast as laurel wreaths with decorative pierced backplates. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Splits into three sections plus cornice and plinth for ease of delivery.
