Antique Georgian Oak Wall Hanging Corner Cupboard

Description

Good quality large oak corner cupboard with a shelved interior, dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The cupboard has its original brass hinges and brass escutcheon.

It is in good orginal condition with a wonderful rich patina. It has a working lock and key and the hinges are in good order. There is a small chip on one side and other minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are old signs of woodworm holes in the back boards which have all been treated as a precaution and the whole piece is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and given a light coat of wax to retain and enrich its natural patina and it displays beautifully.
