Antique Deep Buttoned Leather & Mahogany Stool

Description

This round antique deep buttoned leather stool is naturally distressed & the leather is original. It’s quite large, although it’s difficult to judge the size in the images, so please check the measurements. The leather which has a lovely worn in look, is hand tacked onto the frame & this stool has nicely turned mahogany legs. I’m not too sure about the exact age, because it’s quite an unusual piece. However, I would say it dates from around the 1890-1910 period. Although it may well be older than that.
