Japanese Meiji Period Bronze Onlaid Koro And Cover

A charming Japanese Meiji period patinated bronze koro & cover finely onlaid with a bird on a branch on one side and a butterfly amongst foliage on the reverse, highlighted in gold, silver & shakudo. The koro stands on three feet with two handles and the cover is finished with a Chrysanthemum finial, it is signed on the underside and in excellent overall condition standing 5 inches tall.
