A superb Japanese Meiji period bronze vase with black patination finely onlaid with a large peacock in silver, gold & shakudo, with exquisite chiselled definition to the birds feathers. This impressive vase is signed on the side and marked on the base and is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age standing 9 ¼ inches tall.
