A fine & unusual Japanese Meiji period satsuma vase of baluster form painted with two cartouches depicting people in landscape scenes including a scarcely seen snow scene, finished with intricate moriagie gilding and multi-coloured enamels.This splendid vase has minor wear consistent with age otherwise it is in excellent overall condition standing 15 inches tall.
