Georgian Two Drawer Side Table C.1790.

Description

Beautiful George III mahogany two drawer side table c.1790. A superb example of the elegance and simplicity of design for which Georgian furniture is so admired. Solid single piece mahogany top with an unusual moulded edge. Over two oak lined drawers with cockbeaded fonts retaining their original brass handles and pierced backplates. With a neat little moulding around the bottom edge and raised on long straight legs with chamfered inner corners and the original wooden barrel castors. Good early timbers and a fabulous colour.
