Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Hall Lantern

19th century
Description

A superb example of an antique glass hall lantern. The hand blown textured glass pendant has a wonderful cranberry colour fading down from the top. The metal gallery screws onto the top of the glass pendant and has an attractive leaf and berry design around the outside.

It has been re-wired with a modern bayonet bulb holder and a length of braided brown cable. We always recommend fitting by a competent electrician.

The lantern is in excellent original condition with no major damages. The metal has tarnished slightly in places and developed a nice aged patina and overall it displays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please have a good look and if you have any questions at all please ask. Nationwide delivery £20.
