This pair of antique Swedish leather Chesterfield armchairs are absolutely stunning in both design & colour. The leather is all original & in good condition. There is on small bit of damage on one of the seats, which has been professionally repaired with a leather patch underneath. We could have re-leathered the seat & then re-coloured it to match, but it’s really not that bad, so we would rather keep it as original as possible. The inside backs are nicely deep buttoned & they are comfortable to sit on. I would date these chairs to around the 1930’s period. The seats are fully sprung & they sit on sturdy satin birch feet. These chairs are a very unusual design & not one I will repeat again.
