Edwardian Antique Silver Stamp Box 1906

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful genuine EDWARDIAN ANTIQUE SILVER STAMP BOX made by silversmiths Albert Cohen & Charles Solomon (Charles & Solomon) in 1906.

Standing on four ball feet, this trough-shaped Silver Stamp Box has a fully gilded stamp compartment, the original red leather lining under the lid and an original George V One Penny stamp under the glass top.

There are no added engravings, monograms or initials and this fabulous Sterling Silver Stamp Box is in excellent condition and would enhance to any silver collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

The spring in the lid no longer closes the lid.

Dimensions:

Height – 0.75”(19mm) / Width – 1.0” (25mm) / Length – 1.25” (32mm)

Weight – 13.9gm / 0.45ozt
