A pretty little Oak Longcase Clock dating from the early 19th Cent. It is by John Neilson from Dumfries, Scotland. He is listed as working there from 1807 to 1820.
The simple oak case is a nice colour and in good unrestored condition.
The 8 day movement strikes the hour on a bell and has a most attractive painted dial.
