The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Revue Thommen stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Syren, a brand name registered by Revue Thommen. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made in England by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Often movements were imported into the UK to be cased and prepared for onward wholesale. The case is in good condition, just light surface marks from use but nothing serious at all.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in lovely condition.
The little sub seconds hand is slightly out of shape at the end but not very noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
