A stunning late 19th century box

The carcase is veneered in partridgewood, and the top is made up of various exotic and native geometric wood pieces formed into the 'tumbling dice ' or 'cube' pattern favoured by tunbridge-ware.

The edge is crossbanded in kingwood

The inside is lined in green paper and baize.

It measures 10 1/2 inches wide

8 1/2 inces deep

And 4 inches high

Box comes complete with key
