French Cut Crystal And Ormolu Box - Gilded Eagle C.1900

A most unusual and highly collectable cut crystal box of oval form with elegant channel cuts all around the sides.
 
The fittings are all made from gilded bronze and the lid adorned with a striking Eagle with wings spread and the original red stone eye.
 
Superb undamaged condition dating to c.1900. 6'' x 3'' x 2 1/4''.
