Antique Central Anatolian Konya prayer kilim of Sivrihisar design.

Circa 1900.

A kilim of scarce design which is said to represent the levels of heaven, and is for use in prayer and meditation. The weavers of these kilims are followers of the Sufi tradition, the oldest examples are found in the village church of Sivrihisar.

Excellent condition with very slight even wear.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
