A handsome cased set of solid silver salts with spoons. All of the pieces are fully hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark of 1908 (the date mark is slightly worn but still identifiable ). The silversmith''s maker''s mark is clearly visible for A&J Zimmerman on each of the Salts and for Charles Wilkes on each spoon. Each salt is a charming design with fluted sides rising from the most attractive pedestal base. Each of the salts has a blue glass liner. The spoons are a nice neat design with no engraving. All the items fit into the original presentation case.  Condition: This set is in great condition. The inside of one of the salts is slightly tarnished (This sits underneath the blue liner).
