Pair Regency Mahogany & Brass Chairs

Description

A handsome pair of antique Regency mahogany and brass inlaid chairs dating from circa 1810. With carved top rails and out swept sabre legs to the front and back. The top rails are inlaid with brass, the centre rails are carved. The drop-in seat has been newly recovered. Solid and sturdy with good colour and patina.

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered. There is an old well executed repair to one of the front legs, which is solid. Some repairs to back of top rail to one chair.
