Large Edwardian Antique Silver Basket – Chester 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

This stunning EDWARDIAN ANTIQUE SILVER BASKET was made by the Haseler Brothers and assayed in Chester in 1905.

Of oval form with everted rim, this fabulous unusual Silver Basket has a repoussé rococo scroll decoration to the rim and base with an all over pierced decoration to the body.

The stylised handles at each end are decorated with face and scroll designs and to the centre of each side there a shaped blank cartouche with scroll surrounds.

This quality Antique Silver Basket is in excellent condition with little or no signs of wear, no damage or repairs and would look superb in any setting or would enhance any silver collection.
