Welsh Oak Hanging Spice Cabinet. Circa 1690

Description

Fine late 17th. century N. Wales oak small hanging spice or food cabinet fitted with central door having original iron hinges and lock. Door, side panels and sides all with raised panels. Simple moulded cornice and base mould. Fitted inside with central fixed shelf. Oak back. All in fine un-touched original condition. Lovely rich dark colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 27" wide, 19" high, 9.5" deep.
