Georgian Mahogany Drum Table. Circa 1800

18th century
Description

Fine George III mahogany revolving top drum table with octagonal faceted top having wide cross-banding of satinwood. The frieze fitted with eight mahogany lined drawers with wood knobs and boxwood line to bottom edge. Standing on well turned column with bold shaped four splay legs fitted with brass claw casters and inlaid with boxwood lines. All in fine original condition with just a few minor veneer repairs. Fine rich colour with good waxed patina. Probably Irish.
