A Fabulous Silver & Enamel Dressing Table Box

A fabulous silver dressing table box with a hinged lid, dating from the early 20th Century. The attractive body is circular in shape with a gorgeous bi-coloured enamel lid in azure blue, bordered with white. The guilloche enamel is repeated again in twin panels to the sides, the base is engine turned and the interior is fully gilded and contains a mirror. This lovely and superior example would have been used for pills, powder, rouge etc and is a wonderful piece for enamel collectors. Dimensions below.
