Description

Fabulous early 20th.c. walnut longue or daybed c.1920. Solid walnut frame with crisply carved and gilded detail, bergere or canework panel backrest and seat. Unusual design having two arms, the front or right hand arm being shorter making it easier to get into the seat. Turned and fluted arm supports and legs with further gilt detail repeated on each side. Excellent original condition.
