A fabulous silver travelling photograph frame by the great William Comyns. This excellent piece is of wonderful quality. The case is stylishly plain to the exterior and fits neatly in the pocket. Once open it reveals a fully gilded interior, which folds out and into an A shaped self supporting frame. The aperture for the photograph is oval, with the available viewing space of 3 x 2 inches. Retailed by Drew and Sons, Piccadilly Circus, London, it is a most unusual and delightful piece of Edwardian silver deskware. Dimensions below.
