Art Deco 1930's Ceramic Powder Bowl Masked 'Going to the ball'. Features a flapper girl vibrantly coloured with her black bob haircut and holding a black mask. Made in Germany and numbered on the back, bottom of the dress "5299" and under the base. A rare design and very high quality that we have come to expect from German ceramics. Fine and delicate detailing to the face, beautifully and skillfully done. A great box with multiple applications aside from it's original intent. Condition is very good, colours are bright,. there is no crazing to the glaze or chipping to the paintwork. She's free from damage apart from one hairline at the level of the dress at the rear, priced accordingly.
