Beautifully styled is this 1930's Art Deco French Bonbonniere, representing "Colombine", an aquilegia which has long-spurred flowers that are typically purplish blue. Signed LIANE to the lower half of the skirt - see pics. Numbered, with a stamp below H D (Henri Delcourt) Boulogne-sur-Mer. Typical Art Deco colouring which is as bright and crisp as when first manufactured. The glaze is also free from crazing. Wonderfully styled features with beauty spot included. This is quite a rare piece and is ideal for display and use.
