Description

Gents 9ct gold Accurist wrist watch, 1948.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1948 with a case maker's mark for the British Watch Case Company and also the Accurist name.

The case is in good condition with just a small slight indentation to the back. The lens is also in good condition.

The signed dial is a later replacement. It has dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
