Description

A gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe wristwatch, made in England.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, 27 CS, which is working nicely. The 17-jewel centre seconds model, such as this, was introduced in 1953.

The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back and it is in good condition with just the odd minor mark.

The lens is in good condition.

The black dial has a little light marking, barely visible to the naked eye. Original hands and centre seconds.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
