Description

An early 20th. C. Ladies burr walnut Queen Anne style bureau on stand. The unusual shaped sides and top having very good burr walnut veneers, the fall with herring bone inlay and cross banded edge. The fall opens to a shaped interior with 4 drawers, 4 pigeon holes and a central door. Below is shaped drawer with good etched brass back plate handles with pull out fall supports to either side. The lower section having a cross grain moulded edge above the shaped friezes. The whole raised on cabriole legs with shell and harebell carving to the knees and pad feet.

In good useable condition with working lock and key. Dimensions:- Height…36.5’’/ 93cm. Width…28.5’’/ 72.5cm. Depth…17.25’’/ 44cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £48
