Description

19thC. Gilt Brass cased Pocket Barometer and Compass.

The gilt brass cased barometer and compass double sided. One side the barometer, with a rotating cursor bezel, surrounding the ring marked for barometric pressure. The dial engraved for "Negretti & Zambra, London, 7125". The other side with a floating compass, with a stop catch. The whole within the original morocco leather carrying case, opening to both dials, and lined in gilt silk for "Negretti & Lambra, London, - Instrument makers to her majesty."

Height: 3", 7.5cm. Width: 2", 5cm. Depth: 1", 2.5cm.
