The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a seven jewel hand-winding movement, grade 361, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27,743,338 dates it back to 1932.
The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1932, along with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison (Dennison Watch Case Company) who supplied cases for several watch makers but had a particularly close relationship with Waltham UK.

The watch lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a fabulous look with an Art Deco sunburst to the centre, blued steel hands and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
