Description

A fine quality French brass cased carriage clock of smaller proportions. An silvered dial with blued steel hands. The original case gilding. A bowed fluted carrying handle and corinthium capped fluted front and rear columns. Dentil cornice detailing to the top and bottom panels and push button repeating. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Numbered 9792. Circa 1900.

Height 4 " / 10 cms. (size with handle down) Width 3" / 8 cms Depth 2 1/2" / 6 cms.
