Description

A superb and highly sought-after Art Nouveau photograph frame. The frame retains it's original velvet backing incorporating the original folding easel stand.

The sterling silver front is a riot of Art Nouveau decoration incorporating a splendid large Dragonfly to the bottom; the full English hallmark can be found just above the Dragonfly for Sheffield 1903 together with the makers initials for the top-notch silversmith, Walker & Hall.

A fabulous find in excellent condition measuring 8 3/4" x 6 1/4" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 3/4".
