Antique 18th Century Period Carved Joined Oak Buffet C1780

Antique 18TH Century Period Carved Oak Buffet dating from around the time of George 111 c1780. Constructed from solid oak it has a moulded edge to the polished plank top above a carved frieze and three small doors with carved frame and carved lozenge to the centre over a carved frieze. It has a panelled back and is supported on carved and turned cup and cover bulbous legs on a style foot joined by a pot board. Each side is panelled with a carved lozenge to the centre and it is hand and peg joined with original carving.

MEASURES: 48” HIGH X 16.5” DEEP X 46” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
