A little half-length portrait of the celebrated late eighteenth century actress Mrs. Harding.
Fashionably dressed with a voluminous vail about her head and sumptuous ribboned bodice.
In an oval form and printed in the sanguine on a wove paper with title and production details beneath.
Mrs. Harding was famous on the London stage during Georgian period particularly for her portrayal of “Miranda” in Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
Engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi after a work by Benjamin Meyer.
