Antique Regency Style Gilt Convex Wall Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely Regency style convex circular wall mirror dating from the early to mid 20th century. It has a gilded frame with applied ball decoration and ebonised reeded slip. The mirror including the frame is approximately 18" (46cm) in diamater and the mirror itself is 13" (33cm) in diameter.

It has its original mirror plate with signs of age spotting and foxing, creating a wonderful aged patina.

It is in good original condition. There are some light signs of age and use on the frame, some small chips and minor losses and surface cracks on the frame but no damages to the glass and overall it displays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
