Pretty Engraved Crystal Vanity Jar - Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Lid

Description

Pretty as a picture, it's so hard to find them this attractive, and always highly sought-after. This one is a delight with the all around engraved ribbon and bow garland decoration matching the bows on the lid.

The Top, made from solid or sterling silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1922 and is inset with a large domed piece of antique tortoiseshell with attractive markings and a tapestry of colour ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown.

The silver pique is stunning, intricate and highly decorative.

An excellent piece in superb condition measuring 2 5/8" high, with a lid diameter measuring 2 5/8".
