Description

A Fine Quality Aesthetic Period Walnut, Ebony & Amboyna Wardrobe. The cornice with dentil mouldings and an ebony banding to the frieze with circular motifs, above the central bevelled mirrored door flanked by panelled doors, each with central amboyna panels with ebony banding and incised gilded detail. Having fine quality brass strap work hinges reminiscent of Christopher Dresser designs of the Period. Internally the central section having two sliding shelves and four mahogany lined drawers. Each end with a brass hanging rail and hooks. Raised on a shaped plinth. English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 84" high x 80" wide x 24" deep

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed

A Fine Quality Aesthetic Period Walnut, Ebony & Amboyna Wardrobe.
