A Good Set of 8 Mahogany George III Period Antique Dining Chairs

Description

A Good set of 8 (7+1) mahogany antique dining chairs. Seven chairs are matching and there is one of the same Period but a slightly different design. The seven chairs ( 6 stand chairs and 1 armchair) each having shield shaped backs with a finely carved pierced fretwork pane, of a Hepplewhite design with serpentine front seat rails and raised on chamfered Cuban Mahogany supports united by H stretchers. The matching open armchair having a shield shaped back with a slightly different designed pierced back splat and different upholstery. The seven chairs have drop in seats with a floral fabric design, the matching single armchair having green leather upholstery. English circa 1780-1800

Dimensions: Armchairs 23" wide x 39: high x 21" deep (seat height 18"), Stand chairs 38" high x 21" wide x 18" deep (seat heights 18")

Condition: This set of chairs are in superb condition, cleaned and waxed
