A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands and 5 minute outer markers. Retailers name 'Stradling Newbury' to the dial. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Circa 1890.
