Antique Fluted Mahogany Standard Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

Good example of an early 20th Century turned and fluted mahogany standard lamp with a lead weighted base. Elegant design with fluted column and carved foliate.

It has been rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb and is in working order with a valid PAT test certificate.

The lamp is in good condition with some minor signs of age and a few small chips but nothing detrimental. It is strong and sturdy and displays beautifully. The shade shown in the pictures does not come with the lamp and is for display only.
