Description

A superb figured mahogany and inlaid George III linen press. The upper section having a dentil and moulded cornice above a pair of satinwood banded doors with shaped panels, further satinwood banding, line inlay and central Sheraton motifs. The doors open to reveal five mahogany faced sliding trays. The lower section with an arrangement of 1 long and 2 short drawers each having shaped brass backplate handles and escutcheons with conforming satinwood banding and the whole raised on shaped bracket feet. Condition- very good with beautiful patina and working locks and keys. Dimensions:- Height…76.25’’/ 194.5cm. Width…49.5’’/ 126cm. Depth…22.5’’/ 56.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75.
