Antique Mahogany Leather Top Knee Hole Desk

Description

This small antique mahogany kneehole desk is fabulous quality & has quite a lot of age. At first it looks George III & I would like to say it is. However I would say it dates from around the 1890-1910 period & it’s in very good condition. The tooled leather writing surface looks like it could be original & is in good condition too. There are five drawers down both sides with one in the middle. They have original brass handles & fine dovetails. There is a central cupboard with a panelled front. This small compact desk sits on a plinth base & it has plenty of storage.

Depth – 22 inches, 55 cm

Height – 29 inches, 74 cm

Knee height – 22 inches, 57 cm
