Description

A handsome and highly decorative playing card box dating to around 1890, late Victorian or Edwardian.

Made from highly desirable burr or burl Walnut, the box is enhanced with fan inlays to top and front and framed with wonderful satinwood following the front and top edges.

There are two compartments inside each containing a pack of vintage playing cards (not as old as the box), complete; these could be replaced with your own if desired.

Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" tall.
