Art Nouveau Display Cabinet C.1905.

Description

Glasgow school style inlaid mahogany display cabinet c.1905. Two tier gallery top with mirror panel over a three door cabinet with glazed front and sides. Exceptional Art Nouveau style marquetry panels of stylized plant forms inlaid in various exotic timbers across the top. Unusual turned and carved spindles to the gallery, convex glass panels and decorative copper hinges. Original silver grey velvet lining. The bottom two glass panes on the right hand side are later replacements, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
