Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Low rack with arched apron and mirror back panel over a two door cupboard base with two short drawers in the waist and one long drawer below. Maker unknown but of pronounced Arts & Crafts design in the manner of Heals or Leonard Wyburd’s designs for Liberty & Co. With a long overhanging top repeated on the rack and retaining the original strap hinges and ring handles in iron. Walnut panel sides and drawer linings. Carved detail to the block feet. Small burn mark to the right hand side of the cornice (probably from an oil lamp) and some minor wear to the top and shelves. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
