Georgian Oak Bureau C.1790.

Description

Lovely example of the classic late Georgian oak writing bureau c.1790. Open the fall to reveal a good sized writing surface and original fitted interior with pigeon holes, six small stationery drawers and a central lockable cupboard, plus several small hidden extra compartments. Over four long drawers of graduated depth. Mahogany crossbanded fall and drawer fronts retaining original brass handles and escutcheon plates. Raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Solid oak top, fall, drawer fronts and sides, the interior is also in oak. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for the fall and the small internal compartment.
