A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with 'arrow' blued steel hands and black Roman numerals with 5 minute outer markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Movement backplate numbered 3738. A lever escapement. Circa 1890.
