Description

A rare Chinese porcelain armorial cup and saucer, c. 1724, Yongzheng Period. Painted in famille verte enamels, with the arms of Sir John Frederick, Baronet of Westminster, London. The borders with twin arrangements of pavilions between flags, and fish, alternating with gilt shells, scrolls, willow and fungi. Within spearhead band and foliage borders.

Height of cup - 6 cm, 2 3/8”

Diameter of saucer - 12 cm, 4 6/8”.

Condition - Wear and fritting to the enamel - please see images for detail. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
