Painted & Marble Top Rococo Console Table C.1920.

Description

Early 20th.c. Italian carved and painted rococo marble top console table c.1920. Original ochre veined marble top with serpentine shaped and thumb moulded edge. On a splendid carved base with shaped apron and tall cabriole legs joined with carved stretchers meeting with scrolling foliate detail at the centre. Retaining the original dark green and gold paintwork. Some old chips from the right hand edge of the marble and wear to the paintwork. Otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
