The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement has 16 jewels and is signed Warranted English. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in nice condition with only a tiny "ding" to the back.

The watch glass has light surface marking from use and a small scratch to the bottom although very acceptable.
The dial is signed with the original retailer name D.R.Simms, Chipping Norton, it is in nice condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
